Fred Perry Documentary on Subcultures.
This clip reinforces the idea that those who listened to Ska music would have often worn Fred Perry clothing and be a part of a number of subcultures - mods, rudeboys, trojan skinheads, punks, britpop, acid house, etc.
2 Tone Britain Documentary.
This documentary focuses on the idea that Ska music was simply reggae combined with punk which together created a movement headed by The Specials but shortly followed by others who were signed to 2-Tone records including Madness, Selecter and The Beat - all with a unified aim to counteract the extreme right wing group such as the National Front who were creating racial tensions as a result of living in Thatcher's Britain. As a whole, the documentary gives the impression that the target audience for Ska music would include all of the subcultures I have previously mentioned, fans of punk and reggae and left wing political activists.
